PURPOSE:To attain a speed control with high accuracy, by reproducing the seek speed of a magnetic head at a speed signal reproduction circuit, taking a difference between a reference signal after passing a reproduced speed signal through a notch filter, or a low-pass filter, and inputting it to the driver circuit of a magnetic head seek mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The notch filter, or the low-pass filter for suppressing the vibration of a mechanical resonance point is placed at the front stage of a subtraction circuit. Since an error signal after the subtraction circuit is not passed the filter, the lowering of the gain, or the phase delay of the error signal is not generated, and a superior traceability for the speed reference signal of a seek speed signal in the magnetic head can be obtained. In this way, the error signal between a signal which is the seek speed signal passed through the notch filter, or the low-pass filter, and the speed reference signal, can be inputted to the driver circuit without lowering the gain, or delaying the phase. |
