<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operating conditon of a common section and a channel section by acting an elastic memory in the common section like a buffer to set the physical distance of the common section and plural channel sections freely. CONSTITUTION:In the data transfer from the channel section 6 to the common section 1, a clock (CLK') being a timing signal and a frame signal (FS) to identify the time slot location as well as a data are sent and inputted to the elastic memory 22 of the common section 1. In such a case, the frame signal is used to reset a counter generating an internal write address of the elastic memory 22. On the other hand, a frame signal (FR) to reset a counter generating an internal read address of the elastic memory 22 generated by the common section 1 independently of the write is fed together with the clock (CLK) and read at a prescribed location. That is, the elastic memory 22 acts like a buffer absorbing the fluctuation of distance between the common section 1 and the channel section 6 and a data (DINR) is obtained from the elastic memory 22.</p> |
