<p>PURPOSE:To improve the output and fuel consumption, by making a scroll capacity of a turbine maximum until a supercharged pressure becomes a positive pressure, and reducing a back pressure of an engine under a partial load condition. CONSTITUTION:When an engine speed is lower than an intercept engine speed, and a pressure is lower than a predetermined value, a scroll 15B is opened to supply a gas flow from both the scrolls 15A and 15B to a turbine 16. Until the pressure becomes a positive pressure, and the engine speed reaches the intercept engine speed, the gas flow is supplied from the scroll 15A only to the turbine 16. When the engine speed exceeds the intercept engine speed, the gas flow is supplied from both the scrolls 15A and 15B to the turbine 16.</p> |
