FLAME-RETARDANT RUBBERY ELASTIC FINISHING COATING MATERIAL FOR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR USE

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled coating material having excellent properties such as elongation, flame-retardance, stain-proofing property, etc., by compounding a specific thermoplastic resin emulsion with an aqueous emulsion of a silicone rubber and dispersing an additive in the obtained mixture. CONSTITUTION:(A) A thermoplastic resin emulsion is mixed with (B) an aqueous silicone rubber emulsion prepared by using the same emulsifier as the emulsion A and having the same particle size distribution as the emulsion A (preferably a cold-curing rubber emulsion having particle size of 0.1-0.4mum). The amount of the component A is 10-90(wt)% of the sum of both emulsions. The mixture is used as a binder and dispersed with (C) an additive to obtain the objective coating material. The amount of the component C is preferably 30-40% of the binder.
