PURPOSE:To prevent torque ripple from being generated, by setting initial data with a CPU according to the value of current flowing to a transistor, and by working counters based on the initial data. CONSTITUTION:According to the degree of the main circuit current of a transistor inverter, initial data are formed with a CPUH. The input of the initial data to up-counters J1, J2 via a latch circuit I is provided, and the output of signal controlling a dead zone width on transistorswitching is generated with the up-counters J1, J2. The dead zone width is set to be larger when current is large, and is set to be smaller when a current value is small.
