PURPOSE:To readily make constitution of shapes of parts composing a gasifying furnace and to improve performance and reliability of the gasifying furnace, by forming a water cooling wall pipe which composes the gasifying furnace and is at least partially spirally constituted. CONSTITUTION:In a coal gasifying device consisting of a combustor part 18 which burns a fuel to form a high-temperature atmosphere, a diffuser part 19 which is located on the combustor part, communicated with the combustor part 18, carbonizes and thermally cracks the fuel and blends a gas from the combustor part 18 with the fuel and a reductor part 20 which is positioned on the diffuser part, communicated with the diffuser part 19, carries out endothermic gasifying reaction and gasifies carbon particles from the diffuser part 19, the water cooling wall pipe of the coal gasifying device is at least partially formed in a spiral state so that reliability of the gasifying furnace is improved and pipes with any dimensions of inner diameters can be combined.
