PURPOSE:To easily execute the replacing work of a developing unit opposed to a photosensitive body based on the loading/unloading and rotation of the developing unit to/from a rotary developing device by providing the device with a rotor, a shaft body, a coupling part, a press releasing member, and a rotation transmitting member. CONSTITUTION:In case of unloading a developing unit opposed to a photosensitive drum 81 out of two developing units held by the rotor 2, the shaft body 5 is rotated by 90 deg. with a handle 14 and grooved cams 12, 13 are rotated to move pressing members 6a, 6c. Consequently, the pressing force applied to the developing unit in the direction to the drum 81 is released and the fixed state of the unit on the position from which developer is supplied to the surface of the drum 81 is released. Since the unit is freed from the fixed state, the unit can be easily drawn out from an aperture part 94 in the arrow F direction. In case of changing the developing unit feeding developer to the drum 81, the shaft body 5 is rotated by 360 deg. with the handle 14. |
