<p>PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of a transfer recording layer to a member of a transfer part, by applying heat and light energies to the part other than the image forming range of a transfer recording medium to provide a non-transfer property thereto. CONSTITUTION:Light and heat are applied to the transfer recording layer of a transfer recording medium 1 corresponding to an image signal in a recording part 3 to form an image. The transfer recording layer has a property that when light having a predetermined wavelength and heat are applied thereto, its softening temp. rises, and transfer to recording paper 8 fails. The transfer recording medium 1 having the image formed thereon is irradiated with light from a light source 13b by an offset preventing means 13, and the transfer recording layer 1b which is the part protruded from the size of the recording paper 8 is heated by a heating means 13a and it comes to have a non-transfer property. Since the protruded part of the transfer recording medium 1 superposed on the recording paper 8 in a transfer part 4 has had non-transfer property, even if the transfer recording layer 1b of this part comes into contact with a press roller 4b, it will not adhere thereto.</p> |
