<p>A suspension system for controlling the movement of first (11) and second (30) relatively reciprocating members, comprising a plurality of link arm means (46) coupled between the first (11) and second (30) relatively reciprocating members with at least one of the link arm means (46) displaced from at least one other to provide for other than a diametrically opposed relationship. Each of the link arm means (46) includes a body member (78) having first and second ends, first link means (84) (92) (93) for pivotally coupling one of the body member (78) to one of the relatively reciprocating members, and second link means (83) (79) for pivotally coupling the other end of the body member (78) and the other relatively reciprocating member. Movement of the first and second relatively reciprocating members is permitted only along the axis of reciprocation.</p> |
