PURPOSE:To obtain a stable laser output and to perform machinig with the laser output highly accurately, by controlling the phases of the pulsating streams of a plurality of blowers so that the phases are offset leach other. CONSTITUTION:Laser medium gas is circulated at a high speed in a discharge tube 3 between an output mirror 1 and a final stage mirror 2. For this purpose, two blowers 4a and 4b are driven with a motor 7 by way of a timing belt 6. At this time, the rotary angles of impellers 5 are shifted by 22.5 deg.. Thus the laser medium gas is circulated at the high speed so that the pulsating streams are offset. By offsetting the phases of the pulsating streams of a plurality of the blowers 4a and 4b, a stable laser output can be obtained, and machining with very smooth surface accuracy can be carried out. |
