PURPOSE:To perform loading operation almost automatically by displacing a slide lever to an opener through the operation of a means to be guided and a stop part and coupling a coupling means with the opener, and starting automatic loading operation at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A case 2 which contains a storage medium is pushed manually into the insertion slit 4 of a player 1 and then one end of the case 2 is caught by center claws 29 and 30 of opening and closing means 27 and 28; and the case 2 is further pushed in and then the opening and closing means 27 and 28 spread around fulcra 31 and 32 to catch a pin 34 in a hole 33. When the case 2 is pushed in as shown by an arrow 36 while an opening and closing rail 39 is fitted, a roller 10 reaches the step part 18 and is pressed as shown by an arrow 37. Consequently, a belt clamper 17 on the slide lever 8 slides against the energizing force of a spring 12 as shown by an arrow 37; and a pin 26 on the opener 7 turns on a switch 25 almost at the same time and a motor 23 is driven to rotate a belt 21, so that the opener 7 moves automatically as shown by an arrow 36 according to the rotation of the belt 21.
