A stencil for the evaluation of tables having a plurality of table places arranged in a predetermined grid contains at least one plate which has two mutually parallel flat sides and which contains orifices at those points coinciding with the possible table places occupied. So that the stencil can be programmed by the user even without a complicated tool, the plate is prepunched according to the pattern for all the table places with passage orifices, each of which is closed by means of a closing member which can be pierced by means of a spike-shaped or pin-shaped tool.
