PURPOSE:To provide the titled cosmetic containing porous spherical polyamide resin powder as a binder, producible without necessitating the compounding of an oil as a binder, free from stickiness, giving dry feeling to the skin and giving durable make-up. CONSTITUTION:Porous spherical polyamide resin powder having particle diameter of 2-20mum and total pore volume of 0.25-1.5cc/g is compounded to a cosmetic at an amount of 1.0-20.0wt%, preferably 3.0-15.0wt% based on the whole cosmetic. When the above resin powder is molded as a mixture with other powder cosmetic component, the resin particles form entanglement with the particles of the other powdery component to form a tough molded article without using an oil as a binder. Owing to the excellent absorptivity, the resin powder retains an oil added for the protection of skin and the oil is maintained in the powder even by compression molding. Accordingly, further refreshing feeling is imparted to the skin.
