PURPOSE:To prevent slowing down of an access speed by constituting one of the plural storage cell groups that is specified first of a static type storage cell to prepare for the reading of the following cell group. CONSTITUTION:The first group 5 of the plural storage cell groups 5, 13, 15, etc. whose address are consecutive is constituted of static type cells but the others 13 and 15 are of dynamic type cells. At the time of normal reading, during the timing of reading the group 5, the readings of the groups 13 and 15 are prepared for sequentially, and the apparent access time is shortened. When returning to the group 5 from an interim address of the group 13 or 15, since the group 5 is static type and is always ready for reading, it is instantaneously read without any waiting time. As a result, slowing down of the access time can be virtually prevented.
