PURPOSE:To prevent the titled device from the deterioration of picture quality due to fogging on a transferred image, thickening of a line, extrusion of a line, etc., and toner dispersion and to obtain an excellent image by arranging an inverted toner recovering means on a position different from a developing position. CONSTITUTION:The inverted toner recovering means 100 is arranged on the outside of a cyanine developing device 4C. When a plunger 23 is turned on and driven by a power supply in order to recover inverted toner, the plunger 23 is moved in the arrow A direction, an arm 24 is rotated to a position shown by a solid line against a spring means 36 and a metallic roll 26 is moved to a position shown by a solid line so as to be close to a developing sleeve 16 of a cyanine developing device 4C. Thereby, inverted toner on the developing sleeve 16 electrostatically charged with positive polarity is transferred to the metallic roll 26 by bias voltage, scraped from the roll 26 by a scraper 34 arrange so as to be contracted with the roll 26 and dropped to a recovery container 35. |
