A description is given of a device for measuring the pulsing mass flow of a flowing medium, having a deformable measuring element (F) which is inserted into the flowing medium and whose deformation is detected by a sensor (A) located in the flowing medium for the purpose of determining the pulsing mass flow. According to the invention, the sensor is integrated into the measuring element or mounted thereon. In a preferred configuration of the invention, provision is made of a reference plate arranged in the direction of flow downstream of the measuring element, which is constructed as a measuring plate.
