PURPOSE:To obtain a snow chain which has no fear of core material separating from rubber and being cut, by a structure wherein a cloth-like core material is used as the core material because of its being isotropic in respect with strength. CONSTITUTION:A laminate which is produced by piling up a green rubber sheet divided when occasion demands, an adhesive-impregnated cloth-like core material and a green rubber sheet made of material same as that of said green rubber sheet, in the order named, is integrally molded and cured under the state being pinched between a bottom force, on which reticulate grooves are engraved, and a flat plate-like top force in order to obtain a forming material in which the cloth-like core material is homogeneously arranged. A snow chain which has a reticulate pattern corresponding to the pattern of the grooves made on the bottom force is obtained by cutting the resultant forming material with a press having sharp edges which form a pattern same as that of the grooves on the bottom force. |
