<p>The multipolar rotary switch, particularly a cam-type switch, is formed by a piling of slabs wherein the contact and connection elements are housed in chambers defined by extremity walls and intermediary walls. The extremity and intermediary walls are embodied by cast pieces (16) of thermoplastic material and which are mechanically assembled between each other and are rigidly interconnected. On the cast pieces (16) there are provided lugs (50) which, upon side-to-side assembly, go beyond laterally to the adjacent cast pieces and are inserted behind the projections (62). After nesting, the lugs (50) are welded to the side walls of the cast pieces (16) in order to obtain an assembly with a proper rigidity.</p> |
