<p>A faucet particularly suitable for sanitary and household purposes includes a spout (4) of linear form having both ends (5) and (7) deflected at 90°. The first end (5) is sealingly and pivotally connected to the faucet body (1) for rotation about a horizontal axis. The second end is sealingly and rotatably connected to a delivery head (9) constructed to direct a water stream at least approximately perpendicularly with respect to the axis of rotation of the head at the corresponding end of the spout. The spout can have two sections (4) and (6) telescopically fitted so as to allow a regulation of its useful length. The faucet body (1) houses the valve and a control handle (3) extends therefrom.</p> |
