NEW MATERIAL:A large ring polyamine expressed by formula I (n is 1-15; m is 1 or 2; l is 2 or 3). USE:Utilizable as an ion transport membrane by forming a complex with a porous membrane and capable of stably using the ion transport membrane since the compound has high hydrophobicity and remarkably suppressed elution into an aqueous layer. Since the affinity and dispersibility in fluoropolymers are excellent, the compound is useful as a catalyst for decomposing carcinogenic hydrogen peroxide, oxidizing phenol in living bodies, etc. PREPARATION:A perfluoroalkylalkyl alcohol expressed by formula II is reacted with iodine in the presence of a catalyst, e.g. phosphoric acid, etc., to give a compound expressed by formula III, which is then reacted with a compound expressed by formula IV in a solvent, e.g. THF, etc., containing a dispersed catalyst, e.g. sodium hydroxide, etc. The resultant product is further reacted with a polyamine expressed by formula V to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I. |
