PURPOSE:To perform recording of high image quality free from color shift, by continuously covering the outer peripheral part of a drum with a specific elastic member inclusive of a notch part for holding the leading end of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a drum 2 is covered with an elastic member 2C such as silicon rubber and the elastic member 2C is integrally formed on the outer peripheral part of the drum continuously, inclusive of a notch part 2b; and recording paper 4 is firmly held by a paper holder 3. The drum 2 revolves in a counterclockwise direction and an ink sheet 5 advances so that the first color appears. A thermal head 1 presses the ink sheet 5 and the recording paper 4 to the drum 2 and ink is transferred to the recording paper 4. When the recording of the first color is finished, the thermal head 1 is separated from the drum and the ink 5 also advances so that the second color appears to perform the recording of the second color. |
