PURPOSE:To simplify the re-execution of the write processing of an unrewritable file at the time of its interruption by comparing data already written in the file and a data to be written in to check their disagreement, and detecting the position of interruption in data output processing. CONSTITUTION:In case of re-execution of a data output, when an output is requested, a data I/O means 2 inquires the necessity for the writing of the requested output data of a data comparing means 3, and writes the data only if the necessity is responded. During the time the means 2 is outputted data A-C to the piece of file 4 existing inside an optical disc device 1, it is assumed that said processing is interrupted when reaching a point B due to some a reason. In this case, the data is not outputted after the point B. In case of re-executing the output of data A-B in this state, the means 2 executes the processing when receiving from the means 3 a response of write-unnecessary. But in case of the execution of the output of data B-C, the processing of writing is executed if a write-necessary response is returned from the means 3.
