摘要 Single-conductor or multi-conductor high-voltage overhead lines having long spans are predominantly suspended on pylons via double insulator chains. In this case, at least one spacer (2) is arranged between a pair of insulator chains and the conductor cable load (1), and eyes (4, 5), as well as at least one further eye (5) towards the cable load (1), are arranged between the lower ends of the insulators, to form joints (6, 7, 8, 9). The cable load (1) is transmitted to the spacer (2) by a cable load support (12) which is connected to the spacer (2) via a joint (10) and is arranged symmetrically with respect to the vertical longitudinal centre plane of the line. In the event of an insulator fracture, in order to reduce to an acceptable level an excessively high, suddenly occurring additional load on the healthy insulators as a consequence of extremely fast load-path change processes, a protection device is installed which utilises the shape changing work which then occurs in the cable load support (12). For this purpose, bending stops (14, 15) are arranged on the spacer (2) between the upper joint (10) of the cable load support (12) towards the spacer (2) and the lower joint (11) towards the supporting part (for example 5) of the cable load (1). Shape changing work, which can be predetermined and acts in a delaying manner, is achieved by the radius of the bending surfaces (16, 17) of these bending stops (14, 15) and likewise by the dimensioning of the shaft (22) of the cable load support (12). <IMAGE>
