CONSTITUTION:An aromatic carboxylic acid represented by the formula or a metallic salt thereof as an auxiliary coupler is added to an image forming composition contg. a photooxidizing agent, a colorless dye developing a color by oxidation, an auxiliary coupler and a binder as essential components. In the formula, each of R1-R3 is H, 1-12C alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alpha-methylbenzyl, hydroxyl, nitro or Cl. Benzoic acid, chlorobenzoic acid, nitrobenzoic acid or toluic acid may be used as the auxiliary coupler represented by the formula. |
