PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic sensitive material having stability for a long period, inhibiting fog and preventing the lowering of the sensitivity and the softening of the gradation due to the retardation of development by incorporating a specified compound into a constituent element of a photographic sensitive material having a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a diffusion resistant coupler on the support. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of compound represented by the formula is incorporated into a constituent element of a color photographic sensitive material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer contg. a diffusion resistant coupler on the support. In the formula, each of R<1> and R<2> is H, halogen, hydroxy, nitro, amino, cyano, -COR<3>, -COOR<4>, -SO3M, an aliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic group, R<3> is alkyl or aryl, R<4> is alkyl, or M, M is H, an alkali metal or ammonium and Y is a single bond or a bivalent combining group. The preferred amount of the compound used is 1X10<-6>-10<-1>mol per 1mol silver halide. |
