PURPOSE:To take out a very small amount of a viscous liquid to apply the same in a circular shape, by providing drive mechanism for downwardly protruding the leading end of a needle from the lower end part in a nozzle and allowing the needle to approach an article to be coated until the liquid at the leading end of the needle contacts with the article to be coated. CONSTITUTION:A slider 33d falls along a slide rod 33e by operating, especially, the solenoid 13a of a needle driving mechanism 13 on the basis of an electric signal and the needle 12 inserted in a nozzle part 11a approaches the upper surface of a light emitting element 103 in connection with said slider and the adhesive resin at the leading end of said needle is applied to the light emitting element 103. The amount of the resin can be controlled by a method for adjusting the position of the rod of the needle driving mechanism 13 by the screw 28 supported by a spring 27 or a method for changing the position of the needle 12 and that of the holder 23 supporting the whole by the adjustment and combination of adjusting screws 33a, 24. |
