<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the strength of a rotary radial plunger type pump against heavy load to enhance the durability thereof, by reciprocating pistons in the pump under the action of a cam ring through the intermediary of rollers. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 having its rotary center OR which is eccentric from the center OC of a cylindrical orbit surface 10-1, is fitted on a valve shaft 2 integrally incorporated with a housing 10. This rotor 1 is formed therein with a plurality of radial cylinders 21 each receiving slidably therein a piston 4. A rotary ring 7 is disposed between the cylindrical orbit surface 10-1 and the rotor 1, being journalled by means of a plurality of needles 9 disposed between the rotary ring 7 and the cylindrical orbit surface 10-1. Cut-outs are formed in the outer periphery of the rotor in the vicinity of the cylinders 21, and rolls 6 are disposed in the cut-outs, the rolls 6 being urged against a guide surface 17-1 at the rear side in the rotting direction, by means of leaf springs 8. Therefore, the pistons 4 are reciprocated in association with the rotation of the rotor 1 so that fluid is fed out.</p> |
