PURPOSE:To impart new function to the monomolecular film having hydrophilic groups in both of a base material side and an atmospheric side formed on a hydrophilic base material, by using an org. compound having the same hydrophilic groups at both terminals thereof as a raw material. CONSTITUTION:An org. compound having the same hydrophilic groups at both terminals is used as a raw material and, by adequately selecting a protective group and the protective or de-protective condition thereof, a monomolecular film having hydrophilic groups in both surface sides thereof can be formed on a hydrophylic base material by an LB method. One or more of org. compound used herein is represented by X-R-X (wherein X is a hydrophilic group and R is 8 of more, desirably, 14 or more C hydrocarbon group). |
