PURPOSE:To decrease flow resistance, by a method wherein, by positioning the center of an impeller and a motor eccentrically from the center of a pump casing, partially wide spaces are formed in an upper and a lower chamber, and a communicating hole, through which the upper and the lower chamber are intercommunicated, is formed in a bearing stand. CONSTITUTION:By positioning a center O1 of a motor 22 and an impeller 24 eccentrically from a center O2 of a pump casing 16, partially wide spaces 25 and 26 are formed in upper and lower chambers 20 and 21. A communicating hole 27, through which the wide spaces 25 and 26 of the upper and lower chambers 20 and 21 are intercommunicated, is formed in a bearing stand 19. This constitution causes sucked water to make contact with only a motor body and prevents it from making contact with the head part of a motor, resulting in reduction of flow resistance.
