New emulsifier for the manufacture of asphalt emulsions based on modified bitumens and process for its manufacture. The emulsifier according to the invention is a polyamide consisting of units of carboxylic acids and amines referred to below in the following proportions: unsaturated fatty acids, 2-6.2 %; added oleic acid, 45-60 %; tallol fatty acids, 3-7 %; diethylenetriamine, 5-10 %; triethylenetriamine, 4-8 %; triethylenetetramine, 16-20 %. This new emulsifier is capable of emulsifying modified agglomerants, at the same time imparting to the emulsion a rate of destruction such that it makes it possible to manufacture microagglomerates while cold. |
