<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of clogging of cutting chips, etc. and enable cutting with a small and light device by placing a pair of shafts on each of which cutters and spacers are alternately installed in parallel being arranged so that the cutters are meshed alternately and rotating said shafts in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:Chips fallen from a chip conveyor into a cutting device are housed on the peripheral faces of cutters 5a, 5b and spacers 6. The spacer 6 for the cutter 5a and a shaft 4 rakes up the chips to a meshing part, whereas, the spacer 6 for the cutter 5b and a shaft 3 prevents the chips from being collected to the meshing part raking back the chips to scrapers 15 and, accordingly, the feeding quantity of chips to the cutters 5a, 5b is restricted, without causing clogging. And, the chips are scooped by the blades 7 of the cutter 5b and drawn in between the cutters 5a, 5b via a gap between the spacer 6 of the shaft 3 and the outer periphery, crushed in between the outer periphery of the cutter 5a and the spacer 6 of the shaft 3, and torn off on the peripheral edges of the cutters 5a, 5b, and fall.</p> |
