PURPOSE:To enable an image very high in contrast even in the case of using a 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidone hydroquinone type developing solution high in preservability for processing, to enhance storage stability and aptitude enough to meet rapid processing by incorporating 3 kinds of specified compounds in a hydrophilic colloidal layer. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material comprising a support and the hydrophilic colloidal layer having at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing the 3 kinds of compounds represented by formulae I, II, and III, respectively, in which each of R1-R3 is H or a group having a negative Hammett's sigma value (sigmap); X<-> is an anion; each of R4 and R5 is H, alkyl, or the like; each of R6-R9 is H, sulfo, alkyl, or the like; R10 is alkyl or a heterocyclic group; X is H or acetyl; R is aryl; each of R11-R14 is H, alkyl, or aryl. |
