PURPOSE:To omit the need for an operation to set the tool correction value by transferring the correction value of an existing value storage part newly to a present correction value storage part via a control part when tools are replaced. CONSTITUTION:When a parts is processed newly by a machine tool, the existing tool correction value is first supplied with no cut produced to a command input value storage part 2. This input value is stored in a present correction value storage part 2 and an existing value storage part 6. The wear of a tool caused during the processing is corrected by an automatic size correction method where the value of the part 2 is automatically corrected. While an external signal or the signal received from a control panel is supplied to a control part when a new tool is automatically replaced. Then the part 3 transfers the correction value of the part 6 corresponding to a designated number to the part 2. Thus the correction value of the replaced tool is updated to the value that causes not cut to the part 1.
