<p>PURPOSE:To minimize the extent of damage on a communication line itself by using the communication line to detect the state around a communication line bundle at the outside of a station office. CONSTITUTION:A telephone set 3 is connected to a main distribution panel 2 in the station office via a telephone line 5 and accommodated in an exchange 1. A sensor 6 is connected at each prescribed interval of the line and an alarm equipment 7 is connected via the panel 2 in the station office. Thus, if a fire, e.g., is caused along the line, since the sensor 6 senses the fire, the information is sent to the alarm device 7 and the state is recognized before an accident takes place in the station house and quick countermeasures are attained.</p> |
