PURPOSE:To prevent the excessive fatigue of an operator by changing the luminance of a display part in case an input operation lasts longer than a prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:The presence or absence of the data received from a timer 8 is decided when no input data is supplied from a keyboard 6. If the absence of the data is decided, it is checked whether an input operation is presently discontinued or not. If so, nothing is done. If not, it is checked whether a clock pulse is supplied from a detector 7 or not. When said pulse is supplied, +1 is given to a time counter to check whether a time constant TC is attained or not. When the time constant TC is attained with lapse of time, an alarm is delivered from an alarm 25. At the same time, the luminance of a CRT13 is reduced to inform an excessively long job to an operator.
