<p>A process and an apparatus for fusing-on bitumen-based heat-insulating sheets are proposed, which serve for adhesively bonding the sheets to an underlying surface, such as roofs, floors or the like, without an additional adhesive. To be able to heat the bitumen sheets selectively, in order to avoid damaging the heat-insulating material, the energy is applied in a locally restricted and selective way by means of infrared radiators.</p> |
