Sports wheelchair with a seating means (2) and a frame (1) which is releasably connected to the seating means via special retaining elements (9), and this permits easy exchange of the individual components. The connecting plate (13) is fastened on these retaining elements (9). The bevel (20) of the axle (6) results in the king pin angle of the rear wheels (3) and thus in a simplification because the king pin angle no longer has to be milled into the connecting plate. The retaining elements (9) are designed as clamps in the upper region and permit infinite displaceability of the seating means (2) and thus extreme manoeuvrability of this sports wheelchair. This wheelchair is particularly lightweight because of the small number of components. Since, moreover, few components are dependent on the width, the other components can be produced more cheaply and in a larger batch size. Due to the fact that the frame (1) is flat, the space requirement during transportation with the rear wheels (3) removed is much lower than for customary sports wheelchairs with a bulky box-shaped frame. <IMAGE> |
