In a heald-frame control apparatus on the rotation principle, suitable for a high control speed, there are arranged for the actuation of the coupling element (12) two shift levers (20, 21) which are located diametrically opposite one another and which, in the work cycle of the intermittently rotatable drive element (1), execute a movement towards one another and away from one another which is controlled centrally for a plurality of shift levers (20, 21). The shift levers (20, 21), at least during their movement to be directed towards one another, are loaded by a force acting in the direction of this movement and sufficient for actuating the coupling element (12). One end (20', 21') of each shift lever (20, 21) can be respectively retained or released by means of a blocking device (31) which can be controlled according to the pattern. <IMAGE>
