A description is given of a unit for introducing a disinfectant solution from a container into the water feed line to a tapping point, the water feed line having a control valve and a water-quantity distributor, and a bypass line, into which a concentrate line opens via a mixing valve, branching off from said water-quantity distributor. In order to achieve that the unit, independently of an external power source, can discharge water mixed with disinfectant as required, the invention provides that the control valve has a pneumatic control line which can be aerated and is connected to a pneumatic pressure switch.
