An ejection charge (2) for a plurality of submunition bodes (3 to 6), which each have their own fuzes (9), is provided for this purpose. Once the submunition bodies (3 to 6) have been ejected, the fuzes (9) detonate the individual submunition bodies (3 to 6) at points (14 to 17) which are spaced apart horizontally above the target region. <IMAGE>
