A transportable device for the treatment of spent emulsions, solutions, industrial effluents and the like is described, which comprises a reaction vessel with a mixing turbine for mixing the separating agent into the liquid to be treated, and a settling vessel communicating therewith, both vessels having a triangular shape and resting on the rectangular apex in a support structure, a conveying device being provided which can be inserted as a separate component into the settling vessel and, for removing the precipitate being formed, is provided with a driven cellular belt in such a way that, in the use position, the lower section of the cellular belt slides on the right-angled side wall of the triangular settling vessel.
