PURPOSE:To facilitate the exchange of plural upper and lower rolls by respectively pivotally supporting respective both ends of the rolls to a top frame and bottom frame and connecting one end of the upper or lower roll to a driving device. CONSTITUTION:A roll device has a supporting base 3, the bottom frame 2 and the top frame 1. The bottom frame 2 is supported onto a supporting base 3 and the freely attachable and detachable top frame 1 of an open cap type is mounted to the upper part of the bottom frame 2. Both ends the plural upper and lower rolls 4, 5 are respectively pivotally supported to the two frames 1, 2. One end of the upper roll 4 or the lower roll 5 is coupled to the driving device 6. The driving device 6 is disconnected from the upper roll 4 or the lower roll 5 and the two frames 1, 2 are disconnected from the supporting base 3, then all the upper rolls 4 or lower rolls 5 are exchanged together with the frames 1, 2 in the form of a cassette in the case of exchanging the rolls.
