The invention relates to a window frame having four profile strips (12) which are mitred at their ends, and having a corresponding number of corner angles (20) which can be inserted into a hollow chamber (18) of the profile strips (12) and can be connected thereto, forming corner connections in the process. In the region of the mitred ends of the profile strips (12) there are arranged, on hollow-chamber walls (19) accessible from the outside and on the neighbouring corner-angle legs (21), bores (26, 28) which mutually overlap in pairs and of which the bores (26) in the hollow-chamber walls (19) exhibit a greater diameter than those in the corner-angle legs (21). The mutually facing bore borders (27, 29) are separated from one another by a free interspace (30). A locking element (40) can be inserted into the mutually overlapping bores (26, 28), which element exhibits a cylinder pin (42), which engages into the corner-angle bore (28), an eccentric pin (44) which engages into the hollow-chamber bore (26), and a locking-bar part (46) which engages into the interspace (30) and engages behind the hollow-chamber wall (20) in the mounted state. The corner connection is suitable, in particular, for narrow secondary windows, secondary glazing-bar frames and fly screens. <IMAGE>
