CURRENT SUPPLY RECORDING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To obtain stable printing density, by a method wherein the number of recording electrodes having to receive the supply of a current are preliminarily measured by the drive control means of the recording electrodes and a current supply pulse width or the number of current supply pulses applied to a needle electrode is changed based on the measured result. CONSTITUTION:A printing order given as an input signal by a parallel or sequential pulse train enters a pulse counter 1 prior to entering a recording electrode driving control apparatus 2 and the number of needle electrodes are measured. The ON/OFF order to the needle electrodes passing through the pulse counter 1 is sent to the recording electrode driving control apparatus 2 to generate the ON/OFF order to each transistor 4. The pulse width of the current supply order applied to each needle electrode 5 changes according to the number of the needle electrodes 5 simultaneously receiving the supply of a current and is adjusted according to a preset value and, in spite of constant voltage driving, constant electric energy is always charged in the current supply transfer sheet 8 directly under each needle electrode 5 regardless of the number of the needle electrodes simultaneously receiving the supply of a current and a uniform transfer dot having stable density and shape is obtained.
