PURPOSE:To prevent device parts from wearing, by leading plural suction collets installed in and around a circular plate into an index groove of an opening part in the inner part of the circular plate by a duct line, and connecting this index groove to a vacuum source via a steel ball and a spring. CONSTITUTION:Plural suction collets 12 are installed in the circumferential part of a disclike turret head 11 to be rotated together with a shaft 20. These collets 12 are interconnected to the concave index groove 14 opened to an inner surface of the turret head by a pipe 10. A steel sphere 16 is installed in this index groove 14, and connected to a vacuum source via springs 17 and 18 and a pipe line for suction use. A conveyed article, for example, a pellet is attracted by the suction collet 12, and positioned by the steel ball 16. When the suction collet 12 is changed, the shaft 20 is rotated and the steel ball 16 is extruded from the inside of the index groove 14, then the desired suction collet 12 is engaged with the steel ball 16. With this constitution, the friction of members is brought to nothing so that abrasion powder is prevented from occurring, thus the yield of a product is improved.
