PURPOSE:To lower a cost and inertia, by manufacturing a 1.5mm thick or less sheet magnet with a rare earth resin bond magnet by a field extrusion forming method, and by winding up a rotor unit with the sheet magnet as it is. CONSTITUTION:For pulverulent magnet, a Sm2TM17 rare earth intermetallic compound is used, and with the compound, nylon or the like is mixed, and by an extrusion forming method, a rare earth resin bond sheet magnet for a motor is manufactured. On the magnetic function, the maximum magnetic energy product of 7.2MGOe or more is obtained in an orientation field 4-18KQe. The sheet magnet 12 is put in a state heated and plasticized by a preheating heater coil 9, and is wound up on a rotor 11 by one turn to form a rotor unit. The rotor unit is provided with a rotor core 10, and the magnet 12 is polyphase- magnetized with pulse magnetization.
