PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent use feeling to the skin, by combining a weak acidic emulsifier, obtained by neutralizing specific higher aliphatic phosphoric ester with basic amino acid, with specific alpha- monoalkylglyceryl ether. CONSTITUTION:A basic amino acid salt (component A) of higher aliphatic phosphoric ester represented by formula I (wherein R1 is a 12-22C alkyl group or a 12-22C alkenyl group), alpha-monoalkylglyceryl ether (component B) represented by formula II (wherein R2 is a 12-24C alkyl group), an oil component and water are compounded and stirred until become uniform to obtain an oil in water type emulsified composition. In preparing the component A, straight chain saturated phosphoric ester is used. As the component B, alpha- monopalmitylglycerine ether is pref. The compounding amount of the component A in the composition is pref. about 0.03-3wt% as higher aliphatic phosphoric ester and that of the component B is pref. about 0.3-12 times by wt. of the component A.
