PURPOSE:To enable to feed oil with ease, by preventing formation of voids by bringing only the axial end face of a holder plate to a fastening ring over the entire circumference thereof, and projecting clamping portions of the holder plate radially outward from the peripheral portion of the holder plate. CONSTITUTION:A holder plate 1 is made hollow at its central section 1a so that a shaft is extended therethrough. That is, the holder plate 1 is made in the form of a ring so that only the peripheral portion 1b of the holder plate 1 is kept in contact with a fastening ring 4 over the entire circumference of the same, and clamping parts 1c of the holder plate 1 are projected radially outward from the peripheral part of the holder plate 1. When the fastening ring 4 is fixed to a pump casing, voids are not formed even if recesses (a) having a small depth are formed in the casing 3 surrounding the holder plate 1, since they are opened at their tops. Therefore, it is enabled to feed oil to a shaft sealing chamber with ease. |
