PURPOSE:To easily and firmly install a crane, by forming a post body so that it has a cross-sectioned shape having a plurality of long rectangular parts integrally jointed with each other, and by forming the cross-sectioned shape in a T-like shape or a cruciform shape in accordance with the installation space condition on a deck. CONSTITUTION:A T-like cross-sectioned shape post body 21 having a plurality of long rectangular parts 21a, 21b which are integrally jointed, is planed in the space between a hatch 13a and hatches 14a, 15a on a deck, and a deck crane 2 is installed on an intermediate post 22 secured to the upper section of the post body 21. As a result, when the T-like cross-sectioned shape post body 21 is compared with a conventional circular cross-sectioned shape post l, the hatch 13 may be made to approach the T-like cross-sectioned shape post body 21 up to a distance 11 so that a space between lines (a, b) may be obtained so that the storage space for a hatch cover 13 may be made to be large, and further the shape of the intermediate post 22 may be selected to be optimum for the installation of the deck crane 2, thereby it is possible to facilitate the installation of the deck crane 2 and to enhance the supporting strength thereof.
