PURPOSE:To prevent a power transistor from being overheated, by providing a temperature sensitive reed switch in a motor driven power steering device. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of power transistors TR2, TR3, TR4, TR5 exceeds a predetermined value, a temperature sensitive reed switch 125 is opened. As a result, a relay 18 is deenergized so that no armature current is applied to a motor 12, and therefore, the power transistors TR2, TR3, TR4, TR5 are rapidly cooled. |
